What do the What, When, and Who views mean in a project?

The What, When, and Who views are three separate views of a single project.

These three views contain your project information but presented in a different way. They allow you to approach a project from the angle that suits you best personally or that best suits the specificity of the project.

You can navigate from one view to another as needed. Any modification made in one view is carried over to the others.

When you need to organize something, you ask yourself 3 questions:

  • What do I have to do?
  • When should I do it?
  • Who should do it?

These are the 3 pillars of a good organization, which you find in the 3 views of the project.

The What view allows you to view tasks as lists (sous la forme appelée Kanban).

For more information, see the article on the What view.

The When view allows you to view your tasks over time and their sequence (in the form of a Gantt chart).

For more information, see the article on the When view.

The Who view allows you to view your tasks in a schedule with a breakdown by member.

For more information, see the article on the Who view.
