Where to create a sequence of tasks
The succession or sequence of tasks can be created in the “When” view of the project, or in the Gantt view in the Multi-project mode, or in the task detail (Links side panel of the task).
How to create a sequence of tasks
- Use the links between tasks if the tasks must be carried out in a specific order.
- Use the fixed links between tasks if the completion of tasks must follow a specific order and if a fixed duration must be respected between the completion of a task and the beginning of the following task.
- Use the milestones if certain tasks are an important step in your project.

Good to know: you cannot link tasks that do not belong to the same project.
